Shipping and Delivery

We sell products in all different shapes & sizes, which means we use multiple delivery services to get your goods to you. Below you will find frequently asked questions relating to the delivery of your order.

How much does delivery cost?

Our delivery is based on location and will be calculated on checkout, this will include a standard or express delivery charge plus the flat rate for location. Our standard delivery time is 10 working days and express delivery within 5 working days.

How long will delivery take?

On the product page we display the availability of each item along with the estimated delivery timescale based on our standard delivery service. The availability will state one of the following:

  • In Stock & Delivered within 10 working days – These items are physically in stock in our warehouse in Co Kildare. The lead time advised is an estimation of how long it will take to arrive after you place your order.
  • Pre Order | These items are not in stock just yet, however are on order/reserved stock you are able to pre-order them to avoid disappointment of us selling out. The estimated delivery date is based on when we expect the stock to arrive into our warehouse.

 

What happens if I’m not in?

We will always give you 48 hours notice of your delivery and this gives you the opportunity to advise us of your request to change the date. This does mean however that, in some cases, you may be waiting an additional amount of time for your delivery that will be advised to you.

For all of our large furniture sets a signature will be required, these orders will be pre-booked so you will know what day your goods will arrive. If you are not in on the day you have arranged for your order to be delivered, you may be charged for repeat delivery.

The goods will be delivered to you and (where restrictions allow) deliver them to the location required as long as reasonable access is available. Where no access is available this must be advised and organised a suitable alternative to deliver your furniture, this may incur an additional delivery charge. The furniture will be left ready and all packaging will be removed unless you require this to be retained.

International Deliveries

If you’re looking to ship your item(s) abroad then we can also assist you with this. Whether you’d like us to deliver your order to a freight-forwarder on your behalf, or you’d like us to arrange with our delivery partners to deliver your order to another country, we’re here to help.

Delivering orders abroad

We have great relationships with freight-forwarders. This allows us to offer international shipping to European countries. Due to the nature of the business, the products that we offer are large in shape and size. This makes it very difficult for us to automate a cost within the checkout and therefore we encourage customers to email us at info@finnandelder.ie for quotations. To enable us to provide you with the best quotation it is important to have full details of the delivery address, as well as all products you wish to order.

Where do you ship to?

We frequently have customers taking delivery of their furniture in places such as UK, France, Switzerland, Spain, Portugal and Italy. Whilst we cannot guarantee that we will be able to deliver to every European country, we promise to do our best to offer a competitive quotation. We cannot guarantee that we will be able to ship all items which are advertised on the site.
